The O Antiphons are the opening prayers of the Divine Office (also known as “Liturgy of the Hours”) said during the final week of Advent, from December 17-23.  Praying the Divine Office is a beautiful form of meditative prayer in the Catholic Church, and the prayers are particularly meaningful during the days leading up to Christmas.
 
In recent times the O Antiphon prayers have been “edited” and shortened, but we prefer the ancient prayers from the Latin Missal. Our O Antiphons cards feature the original form prayers from a 1700's Latin missal. Each card features the nightly prayer, translated from Latin, as well as the corresponding Scripture passage.
 
Our collection includes 7 beautiful watercolor prints with the prayer and scripture of the day. We've also included a wooden display stand so that you can display the card on your dinner table or family altar each day.
