Behold: Family Advent Curriculum

Mamas and families need simple, easy, and effective devotional tools, especially during the holy season of Advent. We’ve delivered that and more in our BEHOLD Advent Study written by author, educator, and Catholic mama Sarah Scarborough. 

BEHOLD is a four-week Advent curriculum aimed to draw your domestic church closer to Jesus and to one another. Each week includes four days of study and walks your family through the corresponding Advent theme of peace, hope, joy, or love. Using a Charlotte Mason influence, we have crafted over 85 pages for your family to enjoy, including: 

• Scripture-focused reflections and prayer opportunities 
• Catechism or saint quotations to discuss together 
• Printable hymn sheets, poetry studies, & art studies 
• Copywork sheets, recitation, and narration opportunities 
• Optional read-aloud books and corresponding activities
• Advent-themed word cards to display​ 

Your week begins with a grid overviewing each topic of study. Through easy to follow, open-and-go lessons you and your children can enter into the anticipatory beauty of the Advent season together. 

This study is designed to be used for children from early elementary into middle school, but truly the entire family will benefit from this amazing resource. Your family may choose to do all four days per week of suggested study and activities, OR you may choose to pick and choose one or a few ideas each week, and save the other ideas for another year.
