The Raccolta

The Raccolta contains every indulgenced prayer of the Catholic Church. Every. Single. One. 

The Raccolta, whose name comes from the Italian for “Collection,” is a compilation of all prayers and holy works for which popes have granted indulgences.  Originally published in 1807, it was continually updated until 1957, after which it was replaced by a 1968 version that was significantly reduced in size.  These indulgences have never been revoked, however, and as a result they remain a powerful means to obtain additional grace in our daily lives. 

This red leather hardbound 1957 edition, promulgated by Pope Pius XII, contains over 800 prayers that touch virtually every spiritual and physical need or hope.  It also contains parallel Latin text for many of the more commonly used prayers.
